The names Aston 🙂

Nice to meet you I’m one of the Buddies team, maybe we will meet some time.

I was born in Birmingham in the 90’s, in a lovely part of the city, although people tell me my accent isn’t very strong these days.

I moved to Windsor Castle, (yes literally), in 2023. I worked for the Royal Household, which has included the family at times- something I am very proud of. As you can imagine, I do things to a very high standard and take great pride in what I do.

I’m incredibly reliable, so much so, I often run my life to routines and schedules. I’m also a very kind, rational, and supportive individual, I’ve been told I give great advice on many occasions throughout my life – an old head on young shoulders. 

I’ve had a range of experiences in my life which I think make me more unique than most and give me really valuable insight – such as my mixed English/Jamaican heritage (I used to have dreadlocks) – you’ll often see me experimenting boldly with different looks in-fact.  

I have a deep love and appreciation of both cultures – spending many summer (and winter) holidays with my Jamaican grandparents. but also my celtish ancestry, grounded in Scotland  – so I’m quite the patriot. 

I have worked in support of elderly clients in the past, and this is my area of strength. I love sharing stories –  and have learnt the importance of listening;  passing on knowledge and experience through generations is something that resonates with me

I am able to play the harp to a good standard, and also enjoy archery, swimming and interior design – as well as long walks, going for coffee and reading; I could list the classical literature I’ve read but this introduction would never end. 

Oh, I’m also very good at reading and interpreting star-signs, and have quite a deep understanding of the science/theory behind it. I’m a  Cancerean.
